The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is actively targeting crypto/bitcoin investors for audits and detailed questionnaires regarding their holdings, addresses, services used, and anonymity. Jared Adams – CRA Project Oversight Director has also seemingly (and baselessly) accused a Francis Pouliot of money laundering.

Bitcoin transaction volume recently dipped 30% due to the conclusion of a company called Veriblock’s testnet activities. The service plans on using alternative blockchains that will link back to Bitcoin as their final source of truth.

$200K in Bitcoin-related fraud has been carried out against an unnamed Canadian Bitcoin company.  The attackers used double spends against Bitcoin ATMs to withdraw cash before preventing the BTC from reaching its final destination.
